Business Development Manager - Drinks
A great role for a new business development professional on the upward curve with a background in FMCG contract manufacturing. This opportunity is working for a blue-chip drinks business where the contract manufacturing function is a real focus point and therefore, have created this new position to help achieve the annual budget and form relationships with like-minded branded drinks organisations.
Reporting in to the Head of Co-Pack, the role will be based in the Midlands HQ and will drive growth within the function by winning new business partnerships with branded drinks businesses in both the soft and alcohol categories. Working in a team of team of 8, you will own all new business relationships until ready to handover to the account management team and focus on your next targets. To be successful in this role, you must have the right attitude and appetite for winning new business and must have high levels of energy and tenacity.
The successful candidate will have the following criteria:-
- Background in winning new business with FMCG contract manufacturers - ideally drinks
- Must have a winning mentality and the ability to form new relationships
- Having an entrepreneurial spirit is essential
- The ability to devise a new business plan and execute this
- Comfortable with working in the Midlands region on a daily basis
- Ideally Degree educated
