Our client, founded in 2002, is a family business that has grown into London’s leading quality seafood wholesale supplier, providing quality seafood to the best London hotels, restaurants and Michelin-starred chefs. The role

Our client are now looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and high performing Sales Executive to work in a busy and vibrant telesales team in their office near Canary Wharf. Reporting directly to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for calling your customers on a daily basis, taking orders over the phone and processing invoices live. A fair grasp of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word is required. You will also be responsible for your accounts and performance, organising your work plan and executing your daily sales plan.

You must be able to thrive in a pressured sales environment, whilst maintaining a positive and cheerful attitude to your customers and everyone around you. You will enjoy the cut and thrust of a target driven sales team in a fast growing business and the challenge of selling quality seafood products to professional chefs who demand uncompromising levels of quality and service. This role offers career development for successful performers, which can result in being promoted to the next level, Key Account Manager.

About you

We are looking for graduate calibre individuals with a minimum of c.12 months previous sales experience gained ideally in a foodservice environment. Alternatively, you may be a recent graduate with some relevant sales experience gained from an internship or work placement period.

This is a hands-on role with real responsibility that will test your influencing skills from day one. To be successful you will need to display a confident, articulate and persuasive personality, possess planning, organisational and time management skills, display good

commercial acumen and be highly motivated towards earning a monthly bonus by exceeding your monthly sales targets.

Knowledge and passion for seafood and fine food is advantageous but not essential. However a desire and commitment to learn about our client’s range of exceptional seafood is essential (training is provided).
