This newly created role is a mix of both team management and account ownership – all tied together to manage and deliver the retail strategy for the Southern half of the country. You will take on Head Office responsibility with a selection of High Street travel retailers, building on existing relationships and bringing pace and rigour to account management and contract negotiations. A well-established and high performing team of 4 Regional Sales Manager’s will also report to you, managing over 1000 retail outlets across the region. This team forms a crucial piece of every major retail accounts annual plan as they educate the trade on how best to promote and sell Royal Caribbean to new and existing customers. You will be tasked with developing a fully integrated strategic sales and marketing field plan on an annual basis in conjunction with Strategic Account Managers and their respective accounts.
We’re looking for an outstanding candidate who possesses classical account management skills, ideally from FMCG, Travel Retail or B2B, backed up with strong commercial judgement and excellent negotiation skills. Currently a NAM or Strategic Account Manager, you will be looking to directly affect your career trajectory along a fresh and exciting path. You will also ideally have had some experience of people management and understand the nuances of coaching and leadership field based sales people. Just as important is the ability to communicate and manage internally both laterally and upward with peers and the Senior Leadership Team. To be successful you will need to be able to demonstrate drive, enthusiasm and the potential to progress.

The role is home based and covers the South of the country but you are required in the Weybridge Head Office 1 day per week.
