Description
The Account Manager is a field based role maintaining and developing relationships with key stakeholders in both businesses and practitioners within the region to promote the range of products.
You will be responsible for
- Creating and exploiting new profitable opportunities in the given territory
- Managing the business between the brand and its customers
- Ensuring that the brand maintains its recognition as a market leader and the first of choice for patients
- Acting as a brand ambassador for the vision care division at conferences and customer meetings
- Arranging appointments with store managers and decision makers
- Managing your own diary to work effectively
- Journey planning to ensure efficiency with appointments
- Developing new business opportunities within your territory
- Arranging appointments with store managers and decision makers
- Selling into independent retailers
Profile
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
- Field sales experience
- Strong presentation skills
- Entrepreneurial skills and commercial acumen
- Account management experience in a client-facing role
- Ability to obtain new business
- Use of own initiative
- IT literate
- Experience of managing own diary
- Full driving license
Job Offer
- £32,000 to £38,000 basic salary (dependent on experience)
