The Company:

The company is a fast growing UK leader, supplying commercial furniture to the hospitality and leisure industry. They supply conference furniture and soft seating. 

The Role:

As Specification Sales Manager you will be responsible for selling the company’s quality and design led range of conference and soft seating products. The role is 100% focused on specification so you will spend all of your time with Architects, Designers and M&E consultants.

You will be generating new projects whilst also managing existing projects and keeping track and chasing new leads. The business focus will be on large commercial projects such as hotel, leisure, health, commercial offices, shopping centres, airports etc. The background required is construction orientated and should be focused on the interiors products such as sanitary ware, flooring, ceilings, wall coverings, tiles or any other interior finishing product or something sold based on its aesthetics.  It is essential that you possess strong relationships within the specification market sector, in particular, architect and designer along with M&E Consultants. You should be able to provide a list of projects you have won, coupled with a list of specifications converted to orders which will demonstrate your successes and demonstrate that you are selling at the right level and to the right people. Personality is of paramount importance; you must be the type of person who goes the extra mile and stands out from the crowd. 

The Person:

The successful candidate will come from a commercial interiors background, whether that is flooring, ceilings, wall coverings, tiles, furniture, or any other interior finishing product.
We are seeking a high caliber individual who needs to be ultra professional, polished and driven and have experience selling interior products to the London A&D market.

A great communicator and relationship builder. 

Being able to provide a list of example projects you have completed, coupled with a list of specifications converted to orders which will increase your chances of interview.

Salary:

The basic salary is circa £40,000 depending on experience, plus commission
