Exciting opportunity for a Senior national account manager - discounters to join a market leading non food business. This exciting role involves managing an account in the discount channel along with managing two direct reports.

My client is a market leading and well known non food business based in Buckinghamshire.

Description

As Senior National Account Manager - Discounters , you will be tasked with the following roles & responsibilities;
  • Key focus on the discount channel
  • Manage a team of 2 NAMs
  • Manage accounts and all P&L activity with a key focus on driving NPD
  • Negotiate and progress contracts for all current account activity
  • Develop JBP's to align business expectations and maintain planned growth
  • Drive new business within existing and prospective accounts
  • Support the wider team with growing the business in the long term


Profile

The successful Senior National Account Manager - Discounters will have the following profile;
  • Minimum 4 years National Account Manager experience
  • Extensive experience within the discount channel
  • Ideal channel experience working with Wilkinsons would be advantageous
  • Strong retail knowledge and negotiation skills
  • Proven track record in account development and successful JBP strategy
  • Key commercial success and ability to demonstrate this with ease
  • Strong analytic sales skills
  • P&L Accountability
  • Evidence of strong internal and external stakeholder management
  • line management experience
