Interim Category Manager
An internationally owned personal care products company is seeking to appoint an Interim category manager on a 3 day a week basis to support their growing team. The role will be based at their West London site on a day rate of up to £300 and last for 3 months.
You will work with the National Account Managers and Consumer Marketing team to maximise range, space and display of their brands in key retailers/wholesalers using best practise in Category Management. You will play a key part in developing and delivering compelling category insights and recommendations which drive sustainable growth for the mutual benefit of the business and their key external customers. The role will also manage the ongoing downloading and manipulation of multi-sourced data including IRI, KANTAR, Brandview and Retailer B2B data into a structured format suitable for further analysis. In addition, you will analyse assembled data in order to summarise and track market performance and consumer and market trends and produce monthly market reports summarising category, retailer and the business performance.
To be successful you will be an experienced Category Manager who can demonstrate an ability to step into a temporary role and hit the ground running. Experience working with personal care products with an understanding of the current market place will be essential.
