Role Purpose:

The Sales Director of Armit Wines will form part of the Senior Leadership Team and will be responsible for the implementation of the business strategy to accelerate the growth of sales. The Sales Director will oversee the On and Off trade, Private client and trading channels and be fully responsible for the day to day operations of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Reforming the data system (with marketing) and how it's used within the Private Client department to increase customers and sales.

Allocations - be a pivotal decision maker in the allocation process with key agency wines, alongside other departments- sales, buying & MD.

Improve performance of the team especially in relation to existing customers and payments received

Be part of commission / remuneration changes scheduled prior to New Financial Year (July)

Creating, developing and executing annual business plans.

Putting together detailed forecasts and budgets with KPI's, departmental objectives and incorporating individual bonus schemes for all employees.

A large part of the role will be to look at the allocations across the Company and keep a close eye on the flow of stock within the business.

Implement a sales strategy to help build and develop the B2C market, working closely on the e-commerce business.

Recruiting, training and developing new staff members. This will involve looking at current HR policies and procedures, investing in training and building on the knowledge of the current team and updating all relevant paperwork.

Reporting Structure:

The candidate will form part of the senior leadership team and report directly to Armit Wine's Managing Director, Kirsten Kilby

Highly competitive salary, dependant on experience

37.5 hours per week (with a one hour unpaid lunch break).
