You will manage a territory of diverse retail resellers of the World’s Leading console and games publisher.
The ability to work both in a team and on your own, you will need to be flexible, pragmatic with the dexterity to manage many tasks and objectives at once, with the aptitude to understand the commercial and strategic direction of Sony and deliver the key messages to all personnel. Reporting back all relevant feedback is invaluable to Sony including all task feedback.
18,500K with 3k bonus potential based on performance.
Company car, laptop, tablet, PlayStation associated products.
Monday - Friday mainly with occasional weekend work. 37.5 hours a week.
The key objective for Brand Ambassador is to take ownership of the promotion of Sony products with a specific geographical area. The Playstation team will be responsible for brand engagements, product training, demonstrations, merchandising and sales within their given stores, ultimately increasing the client’s sales.
You will also ensure strong relationships are gained and developed with key colleagues/store managers within stores ensuring the longevity of brand support, brand presence and sales.
This role is split between two areas of focus; 60% Region maintenance and 40% Event and Product training and presenting.
Role and Responsibilities:
Act as ambassador for both RMG and Sony in stores and events
Proactively demonstrate Playstation product features and technology to customers/store colleagues, ensuring the benefits and advantages are clearly communicated.
Build rapport with customers & store colleagues, leaving a positive lasting impression about Sony/Playstation.
Maximize merchandising opportunities within stores through negotiation and building relationships with store management teams.
Implementing merchandising and promotional activities to maximise impact of existing and new product launches.
Ensure the stores in your region are 100% Sony/Playstation compliant where possible in regards to product displays, power and POS.
Training & Events
Hosting and attending events for both consumers and store staff at specified venues.
Attendance at retail conferences and trade shows, supporting Sony/Playstation where required.
Organising promotional events / preview evenings behind the scenes for staff and selected customers, ensuring that all promotional items, including POS, competition items etc are organised and prepared.
To educate and communicate to the retail stores in your specific region on forthcoming new release products and Sony brand.
Maintain strict mileage records and submit to Retail Marketing Group Limited.
Submit monthly expenses as directed by Retail Marketing Group Ltd.
Conduct yourself in a professional manner as laid out in the Retail Marketing Group guide.
Complete all call reporting information by COP each day, including uploading of photographs.
Authorise and submit weekly online reports.
Complete event reports and ad hoc reports as directed by your Line Manager and / or client.
Complete your calendar updates weekly (and submit) as directed by your Line Manager.
Collection and reporting of Data to provide market insight.
