Business Development Manager – Garden & Leisure
Field Based - Midlands

A brand new, exciting opportunity has just arisen within the Consumer Goods industry for an up and coming Business Development Manager based in the Midlands area, who has passion, enthusiasm and a desire to grow and progress within the Garden and Leisure division of a business with over 50 years of experience in importing generic and bespoke goods into the UK.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with experience dealing with independent retail, independent garden centres and garden centre groups, however, this experience isn’t necessary, although it would be desired. You will be working within the Garden & Leisure team and will manage the account base from your location within mainland UK. There is real opportunity to grow the account base here so, any experience within the garden centre world will only benefit you in maximising sales. A background in managing high SKU counts is highly desirable, as the product portfolio is quite extensive.
Some key features of the ideal candidate include:
- Experience with Garden Centres would be ideal
- Independent retail experience would also be ideal
- New business focused with a proven track record
- Strong work ethic, can work to meet targets
- Ideally will have worked with high SKU counts previously
- Ideally Midlands based
- Passionate, enthusiastic and driven
This is a brilliant opportunity for an up and coming account manager with good business development experience and a desire to grow an account base, build relationships and drive sales to meet targets set by the head of the division. With a brilliant commission structure, there is room to spread your wings and develop the territory to your liking, with management of your own journey plan.
