The Advocate Group have been appointed to recruit for a well-known £multibillion consumer branded business based in London. The business is market leading, lifestyle driven, consumer focused and extremely innovative. Are you a driven and dynamic Senior Marketing Director looking to bring your level of experience to a fast-paced growing business? 

The role will be responsible for implementing strategic global marketing initiatives as well as developing and overseeing EMEA specific activity. The Group Marketing Director will be responsible for the strategic development and execution of the EMEA marketing and communications strategy which supports the growth aspirations of the brands and enhances consumer experience and awareness.

Responsibilities:

• Oversees the planning, creation, implementing, and measuring the success of comprehensive marketing, communications, and public relations programs for brand image and position within the marketplace.
• Collaborates closely with senior executive management to develop, implement, and manage global and EMEA specific marketing initiatives for all brands to ensure timely execution of all strategies, programs, and tactics.
• Collaborate with commercial Group Director’s to drive retail sales, distributor engagement, and consumer awareness through global marketing plans.
• Formulate annual EMEA marketing budgets.
• Manage, coach, and develop marketing team members.
• Oversees and directs marketing staff to disseminate corporate brand strategies and their respective teams and ensure marketing branding is consistent with corporate directives
• Assist in communicating and deploying international marketing platforms across EMEA.

Position Requirements:

• Extensive senior level marketing experience in an consumer brand organisation or ‘lifestyle brand’
• A senior level candidate with comprehensive international marketing experience in EMEA
• Ability to work strategically and be executional in a non-traditional, fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Strong leadership skills in directing cross-functional teams to execute marketing programs on schedule and within budget
• A proven track record of successful, global marketing initiatives
• Excellent budget management skills required
• Experience in international marketing and business development preferred
• Be able to travel extensively as required internationally
