National Account Manager – Major Beverage Brand
Our client is an internationally renowned, award winning FMCG brand employing over 200 people across the UK. After dramatically increasing their market share over the last 5 years, the business is now looking to expand its sales team to maintain this growth.
One of the roles available is a National Account Manager reporting directly into the Head of Sales. The focus of the role will be to manage the business relationship between our client and the Value Discounters/Discount Retailers customers to ensure the business grows profitably in both volume and value within designated accounts.
90% of the role will be based on account management, dealing with buyers at the head offices of B&M Bargain, Home Bargain, Farmfoods, Poundstretcher, Poundland, Crowncrest growing the accounts.
You will agree on an annual joint business plan with each designated account ensuring promotional & distribution plans are in place and manage updates/revisions and delivery to the plan throughout the year to ensure targets are hit and opportunities are maximised.
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience within an FMCG business
Experience managing national accounts, preferably in convenience or discount retailers.
Experience in creating joint business plans
Experience operating in the FMCG industry.
Personality, drive and strong commercial acumen.
