Exciting opportunity to join one of the largest food wholesalers in the UK as a field sales manager leading coaching and developing a team of 6.
My client is one of the largest food wholesalers in the UK. Due to growth they are recruiting a field sales manager to join the high performing team based in essex and hertfordshire.
The successful Field Sales Manager will be responsible for Freetrade sales of approx. £30m whilst supporting coaching and developing a team of up to 8 Business Managers and servicing over 1200 customers.
Using your innovative and commercial skills you will work in conjunction with Depot Management Teams, to execute local strategies and to enhance and stimulate the sales function.
As the leader of Business Managers within your area, your goal is to meet and exceed targets through the training, motivation, development and control of the team.
In this fast paced role no two days are the same. Our ultimate goal is to keep the customer at the heart of everything we do and to do this you need to be good at building strong relationships with customers by really understanding their needs and looking for solutions to deliver mutual growth.
You will have a successful track record of winning new accounts and growing existing business in line with budgeted expectations, alongside experience of managing and motivating sales teams to deliver on targets. The role will also require you to be analytical with commercial acumen and IT literate, with advanced knowledge of Excel.
