A great opportunity to work for one of the fastest growing businesses in the UK as a Packaging Buyer.

This is a great opportunity to work for a hugely exciting branded food business currently taking the market by storm. They are now looking for an experienced buyer to purchasing all of its packaging and consumables for the UK and USA markets . You'll have direct line responsibility for a Junior Buyer and work closely with the rest of the business driving the development of the buying strategy for the business. It's a hugely innovative business with brands that require extensive range diversification giving lots of opportunities to identify areas of cost optimisation, quality improvements, service standards, mitigation of supply risk and real innovation. It's a fast-moving business so you'll work at pace, cross-functionally to ensure speed to market of new concepts.

Candidates will need to be an experienced, successful and knowledgeable Packaging Buyer or Category Manager currently working within the FMCG sector. You'll need to have strong negotiation capability with exposure to forecasting, contract and stock management and experience of selecting suppliers and setting up contracts. Category knowledge across rigid and flexible plastics, carton board and corrugated materials is essential.
