National Account Manager-FMCG high street discounters accounts!
£40,000-£45,000 + competitive commission & package
I am looking for an experienced National Account Manager to help grow my high street discount channel.
You will need an impressive new business track record of success in an FMCG business in the high street discount or convenience sector as they are looking to recruit a dynamic sales professional that can open doors and create meetings.
You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts whilst developing new business and listings.
Are you the ideal candidate for this role? You must have Account Management experience (discounters/convenience)
- Delivering the annual sales plan for the designated accounts.
- You will create the channel strategy in line with strategic objectives and develop joint business plans to deliver against the budgeted growth targets for your channel.
- Building strong customer relationships across the accounts including buying, supply chain, finance at all relevant levels.
- Managing the promotional activity within the channel.
- On-going management of the sales forecast for named accounts and updating internal systems.
- Winning new business with customers that not currently trading within this channel.
- You will have a minimum of 2-3 years of branded food or drink sales experience across high street discount or convenience channels.
- Experience in getting new listings.
- Proven new business development and key account management.
- Ability to priorities, exceptional time management skills and ability to work autonomously.
- A high level of competitor awareness and negotiating skills.
- Proven record of demonstrating initiative and delivering results.
