General Manager | Large Scale Manufacturing | Senior Leadership Opportunity
Paul Nyman Consultancy have been appointed to recruit a General Manager for an autonomous division of a multimillion pound group that produces own label food solutions across ambient, chilled and frozen categories. The Managing Director is seeking to appoint an experienced General Manager to run a 24/7 operation in North Lincolnshire.
Using Lean manufacturing skills, you will be responsible for developing improved efficiencies across the site that operates 24/7, supplying all retailers. Due to its importance, a key part of the role will be to deliver clear leadership across the factory floor environment through your direct reports, whilst supporting the executive team to meet their five-year plan through alignment of the site operational strategy with that of the wider group.
This is all about how much “can do” attitude you have with the humility to recognize that you don’t know everything and can still learn. Technically you will be comfortable working within a highly pressurized fast paced environment.
