Business Development Manager-Craft beer on-trade

£30,000-£35,000 plus competitive commission

As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for opening and growing strategic customer accounts within the on-trade channel/wholesale across London and develop strong relationships with existing customers.

To be considered for this position you MUST have proven sales from a craft beer brand and lots of enthusiasm and passion for field sales, including a relentless hunter attitude to the way you approach the role.

THE ROLE

• Manage existing accounts within the on-trade & wholesale channels and develop a pipeline of new business by generating your own leads
• Maximise sales to existing customers to achieve maximum profitability and revenue
• Develop effective sales strategies to achieve set targets & KPI’s
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing and potential customers
• Maintain accurate records of all sales activity and prepare regular forecasts to enable effective forward planning
• Be an ambassador for the company, attending trade shows & industry events
• Effectively plan and manage the working day to ensure coverage is achieved at key trading times of customers.

YOU

• Proven sales experience of selling to on-trade & wholesalers  
• Persistent with a positive attitude, great personality and lots of enthusiasm
• Excellent at generating own leads and driving sales through existing business
• Willing to go the extra mile & exceed targets set
• Highly organised & self-motivated, with excellent negotiation skills
