What you will do:

Our strategic sales and marketing plan is in place. We now need a passionate and committed “foodie” to lead our Commercial Product Development agenda with existing and new customers. Reporting to the Head of Sales and Marketing you will identify and target opportunities in the QSR, Casual Dining, Pub Group and Food to go sectors. You’ll then work closely with internal NPD and Technical colleagues to arrange samples and innovative flavour profiles to create new opportunities. You’ll be at the forefront of menu development concepts and trends and work with our Sales team and buyers to convert those into meaningful business wins. This is a nice combination of product development and a more commercial role and you’ll play an important part in ensuring that we achieve our growth objectives.

About You:

You are a “foodie” who is comfortable in a development kitchen talking with chefs and also being out and about with customers. You like working as part of a team, you build strong relationships and you’re known as someone who delivers on their promises. This is a varied role where you’ll revel in the pace and autonomy, quickly feel at home and start delivering results. You MUST have a track record of success as a product or menu developer in either the Foodservice/Horeca/Out of Home sector or within a progressive food or ingredient manufacturer. You have a passion for food and in this role, you will enjoy talking with colleagues in our factory as well as development chefs and food technologists within your customers. However it is your hard work, commercial acumen and ability to get things done which will deliver results.
