The Role: The successful Scotland Area Sales Manager will be managing a strong portfolio of existing accounts in the independent retail sector, as well as spending some time with contract customers. Speaking to business owners and managers, you will also be expected to develop some new accounts, with new POS equipment coming out every 6 months to ensure their product placement is fully utilised. This company offers full product training and regular 1-2-1s with the management team to ensure your success here.

The Company: Having developed a sales turnover approaching £30 million in the last three decades, our client is set upon more expansion hence their current search for a new Area Sales Manager in Scotland. They sell a quality range of fabrics for curtains, blinds, cushions and bedding and are recruiting in a strong performing region.

For this Area Sales Manager position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
  • Strong field sales skills
  • You will come from a structured FMCG sales background
  • Sales of food/drinks or non-food will both be considered
  • Bright and resilient sales people with excellent relationship building skills
