One of our most high profile clients in the alcoholic beverages industry is looking for a new Assistant Brand Manager to manage one of/ if not their biggest brands.
This company is one of the UK’s leading spirit distributors and is seeking to recruit a new Assistant Brand Manager to join this brands marketing team. The successful candidate will work with the Senior Brand Manager to grow volume, profit, market share and brand awareness of the largest brand in the companies' portfolio with plenty of exposure to senior stakeholders.
As the Assistant Brand Manager, you will be fundamental in growing brand sales, market share and awareness through ATL and BTL activations. Using your innovation, creativity and commercial awareness you will be responsible for key brand specific projects ensuring effective and efficient delivery on time and within budget. These projects include Social Media, brand POS procurement/management and brand activations at high profile events such as London Cocktail Week and Meatopia. You will actively participate in the development of brand building plans leveraging customer, category and consumer insights.
The ideal candidate is an active learner who is action orientated and likes to get the job done to the best of their ability. In this role priority setting, planning and managing expectations are key to success. Ideally, they are looking for someone who has worked within the FMCG/ alcoholic beverages industry with Sales or Marketing experience. - Brand Management and/or related experience in an FMCG environment
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and analytical skills
- Ability to show creative thinking and executional delivery of brand building initiatives
- Must demonstrate commercial acumen and ability to engage and collaborate with sales teams
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Passion for spirits and alcohol with some knowledge of the UK On and Off-Trade landscape
- Willing to learn with a positive, can do attitude.
