Regional Wholesale Manager - Foodservice

£35-40,000 Basic, 20% Bonus, Car Allowance + Benefits

Our Client is an international business supplying Commodity based Food products to the Foodservice channel.

They are looking for an accomplished Regional Account Manager to sell to independent delivered wholesalers – plus members of buying groups; the likes of Caterforce, Sterling, Landmark, Country Range and Fairway. They will be dealing with members only, not head offices of the buying groups as this is done by a NAM

Candidates ideally need experience of working jointly with wholesalers own sales / telesales team ? running ra ra days, promotions, blitz days etc

It’d be ideal if the candidates had some kind of cheffing / kitchen background, so they can talk the credibly when they visit chefs

Also important that candidates have experience of end users ( independent hotels, restaurants, pubs etc ) – as about 30% of this person’s time will be drumming up business with end users to pass onto the various wholesalers. End user experience of some kind is not absolutely essential but is very important.

Candidates should belLiving within or near M25 or within 30 miles outside ( any direction ) .

Our Client is ideally looking for people who have sold commodity type products (  for example vegetables, butter, milk, meat , fish, oil etc ).

Remuneration - £35k to £40k basic

20% bonus

Car allowance - £500 month
