We are looking for a CMI specialist to take on a Consumer Insight Manager role responsible for Marketing Communications for a major Global FMCG company. The business is renowned for the strength of their advertising and this role is integral to their success. You would be responsible for advising senior marketing leaders on Online & TV advertising effectiveness and media budget optimization, to help improve internal decisions for faster growth.

Our client is a blue-chip branded FMCG supplier with a portfolio of market leading brands, spanning multiple food and non-food categories. In effect you would be an internal consultant and be the go to person for effective Marketing Communications, so Globally will have c100 people that you will interact with. This high visibility has been the springboard for the last three people in role to move on to bigger roles within the organisation/ industry. Within the role main responsibilities include:

  • Operating in the Centre of Expertise you will work with local & global Marketing and CMI teams to develop and deploy a variety of standard tools, white papers and key beliefs to various units, to improve decisions in the area of Marketing Communications.
  • Manage and deliver approximately 50 projects per year across multiple categories and 8 countries.
  • Measure ad effectiveness to local and global teams:
  • Identify research requirements and request for analysis from a team of data analysts (x6 people who are responsible for running the analytical engine); transform the results into insights and present them to Marketing and CMI teams.

We are looking for naturally curious individuals with ability to draw and deliver insights with impact. You will have a high level of education and at least 5 years’ experience in a consumer research role (e.g. CMI, Marketing, or Research Agencies). Ideally we are looking for people with interests that include consumer behaviour, media strategy, marketing sciences, quantitative research and data storytelling.


This role can be based West London or Brussels and due to the global nature of the business there will be required travel (c20%) to their major markets, USA, China, Australia & UK role. The business is flexible in working practice but you need to be accessible to West London or Brussels as your base office.
