We are actively recruiting a Business Account Manager to lead the integration of Booker & Tesco. This is a high profile role within the business and would provide you with a great platform to build profile and progress beyond within this career employer. It is a great role to get your teeth into and develop Booker & One Stop and build on a progressive last year where they delivered +20% growth. With a strong relationship in place this should provide you the foundation to kick on and unlock further growth. Still a relatively underdeveloped account, a huge amount of brands to work with and a strong pipeline of NPD you would have a great opportunity to become a hero!
In the role you would be fully accountable for Booker & One Stop accounts; managing multiple stakeholder relationships; driving forward customers vision and plan across the cross functional team; full JBP and full P&L accountability. Building on the progress made in the last year and pushing on open doors, we are now looking for a dynamic BAM to play a pivotal role in achieving growth plans and to strategically develop the account beyond.
Successful candidates will come with a track-record of success within FMCG account management in either Grocery, Wholesale / RTM or Convenience / Impulse customers in a branded environment for at least 3 trading cycles. Strong negotiation and presentation skills are essential. A genuine flair for building strategic customer relationships and multi-level networking are a must. In summary the role would give you significant exposure and profile within both the customer but also within this leading food company recognised as a career employer and the next step in your career should be the big Grocers or a people leadership role within Wholesale / Convenience.
