Senior buyer Food - £75,000 plus excellent package – Central London

An excellent opportunity has arisen within a leading luxury retailer who is seeking Food Senior Buyer to join their dynamic and expanding team in Central London

The successful Food Senior Buyer must have demonstrable experience of the working with food and must have excellent commercial skills ideally gained from the retail food sector. Leading a small team your responsibilities as the senior buyer will be to source great product, all cost price negotiation and supplier management, to deliver customer focused ranges that exceed expectations. The role is a key role within the business and you will have excellent product development and sourcing expertise along with the ability to take advantage of market trends and new opportunities 

Skills: hands on foods buying experience is essential, strong negotiation skills, excellent communicator, you will thrive in a fast paced yet relaxed environment. Food retail experience and understanding of luxury foods would be an advantage. Leadership and man management skills
