A fantastic new opportunity has just arisen within the Consumer Goods industry for an enthusiastic, passionate and determined Area Sales Manager based in Scotland, who is willing to hit the ground running for a well-established company within the industry looking to grow and expand the Scotland and Ireland territories.

A firmly established, family run business, this company have been at the forefront of their industry for over 20 years, specialising in their Christmas decorations and garden furniture ranges. The company is now looking to bring in an experienced Area Sales Manager to manage the existing account base, drive new business opportunities and re-establish this fantastic territory.

The ideal candidate will have passion for the industry and will have a driven and motivated attitude towards relationship building with new and existing customers. You will have a proven track record of generating new business and integrating these new customers into your account base seamlessly. With the ability to work autonomously, you will be able to really take control of the territory and treat it as your own small business. There is huge opportunity on patch that, with the right frame of mind, can be made into a really thriving part of the business.

Some key points to consider for this role would be:

  • Industry knowledge would be ideal but not 100% necessary
  • Need to have worked in the Consumer Goods arena
  • Strong skills in relationship building and maintaining
  • Availability to travel and stay over throughout the territory
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Will to work hard and put in the hours to effectively grow territory
  • Enthusiastic, charismatic and determined personality

The ideal candidate for this position will be located near a major city in Scotland with good access to the motorway networks running throughout the patch. You will need to be able to travel to visit customers both throughout Scotland as well as the entirety of Ireland.
