My client is a very well know, fashion led, manufacture and supplier of high end baby products and they have been established in the UK for more than 80 years. The company HQ is based South East of England where they have established themselves as one of the foremost businesses in their field, supplying both nationally and internationally. Due to further expansion of the brand and continuous growth of the business, the need has now arisen for them to employ a new International Sales Manager for the distributor markets.

The Role:

Reporting into the UK Head of sales you will be a key member of the international sales team and your role will primarily be to establish new distributor partnerships globally. The business already has a number of relationships established in countries such as;

You will be responsible for managing your own diary and will spend the time required to meet clients and understand their needs. This will involve travel across all of your accounts, meeting the customers and promoting sales. You will need to be highly motivated and committed to the role, especially in the first few months when meeting clients for the first time. This is a home based role with the majority of your time spend travelling in the market. There will be requirements to attend the head office every 4 - 6 weeks for Sales meetings and to establish a working relationship with the internal team.

Key responsibilities

 

 

  • Identify and establish new markets that the business could successfully launch their products in to via distributors.
  • Prepare and present market share data, trends, projected sales revenue for each potential market to support their reasoning for opening a new market.
  • Identify local compliance requirements for each proposed market.
  • Hit & exceed sales targets

 


The candidate

The ideal candidate for the role will have experience within everyday nursery products and will have experience of establishing new global markets via distributors. My client is looking for someone that has an entrepreneurial attitude to business and will be able to come into the role, hitting the ground running. This role requires someone that is target driven and someone that can bring solutions not problems to the table.
