Opportunity to join a leading, branded, multi-site business in a procurement leadership role.

This is a rare opportunity to join a hugely successful, global business who are clear market leaders in the numerous sectors they operate in. Working as part of a truly global team, they are looking for an experienced procurement professional to manage a large category of spend across the EMEA region. Across all areas of the business you will provide procurement leadership, support and coaching over key categories to create opportunities to leverage spend for the entire business.

It's a challenging role striving to achieve the benefits of a centralised function in a business that has a devolved structure.

You will need to have strong procurement experience within a large blue chip, FMCG business with real category management expertise. You'll be commercially astute and be adept at achieving challenging targets. Strong interpersonal skills are essential with the ability to flex your style dependent on the situation.

International procurement experience would be hugely advantageous along with demonstrable experience of managing complex categories with multiple stakeholders. You will need to be degree educated, or equivalent, ideally be CIPS qualified and have working knowledge of e-sourcing tools.

In return you'll receive an attractive salary and an excellent package. There is real flexibility around the base of this role. Key areas would be London, Hampshire, East Anglia and the North West.
