About The Opportunity:

Senior National Account Manager - Health and Well Being

Outer London

  • £60,000 - £65,000 Basic Salary

The Senior National Account Manager on grocery will be their most strategic role across UK grocery, playing a little in convenience and developing some of their large convenience multiples in Co-op.  

It's a business with the capital and profitability to really invest in category and shopper insight, allowing them to take the focus back to the consumer using added detail, acting as a category captain to their UK retail customers. 

Your role will be one of the most visible, working alongside the General Manager to develop the channel, driving revenue and profitability through your customers. 

They really value input and you'll be expected/entrusted to put your hand up and bring your ideas to the forefront, to maximise the potential of the account base and business revenue performance. 

P&L and investment sits entirely in your court and you'll have the board sitting with you daily. You'll need the commercial wherewithal to challenge positively and add significantly to the 4-year plan. 

It's a family owned business, so despite having some leading industry figures spearheading the new growth strategy they are very keen on retaining the positive and family feel ethos. The team work hard but there's always time for socialising too. 


About You: 

We're looking for a talented National Account or Senior National Account Manager, looking for the opportunity to progress quickly in a supportive and developmental business. There's real prospect to be Channel Head/Controller in 8-12 months across top 4 grocery.

Essential Experience

  • Grocery National Account Management is vital
  • P&L exposure
  • JBP & promotional calendar full exposure
  • Experience of close collaboration with Category Management and Shopper Marketing Teams
  • Previous experience of building and maintaining strong internal relationships at senior level
  • Brand building and revenue growth examples
  • Strong sales track record
  • Not be afraid to push back internally and externally and bring your ideas to the table
  • A real hunter attitude to develop existing and forge new customer relationships.
