FMCG Consumer App Start-Up

£45,000-£55,000 basic (negotiable dependent on experience) + share options + bonus + expenses + flexi-time working

Opportunity:

Opportunity to join an exciting start-up disrupting the consumer shopping space with over 150,000 App users and a number of major national retailers and brands on board already.

Leading business development, you will have the opportunity to get on board with this well-funded start-up at an early stage and be instrumental in growing our business through leading the acquisition of new consumer brand partners.

Demonstrating our strong value via unique consumer insights and data as well as targeted marketing opportunities and bespoke offerings for brand partners, this is an opportunity for a capable, commercially-minded individual to leverage their understanding of the FMCG consumer market and data to successfully grow and exciting start-up and rapidly develop your career.

Company:

Launched in late 2016, we already have over 150,000 App users and are on course to grow to half a million users by the end of the year – whilst the total core target market for the app is currently at around 11.5m users. We have 2 of the big 4 grocers on board already as well as other major retailers and of course, national brands, currently saving our regular users over £100 a month.

Role:

You’ll be helping FMCG brands to drive their retail sales through enabling them to reach and understand their target consumers, typically millennials with aspirations for a newer, healthier lifestyle whilst saving money. You’ll be able to offer them unique insights into shopping patterns and habits, as well as reach and connect with them in a one-to-one capacity.

Requirements & Experience:


• Deep understanding of challenges and needs of FMCG brands and current trends
• Existing network of contacts in FMCG brands
• Circa 4+ years experience in the UK FMCG market, likely in either a sales / account management / marketing or consumer data / consulting role
• Comfortable using data to put forward an effective proposition
• Great communication, charisma, presentation, teamwork skills, whilst being able to easily create personal relationships
• Open-minded, proactive, ‘never give-up’ approach
