As one of Europe's Leading privately owned Food Businesses, our client is a Own Label & Brand Leader in several product areas across several international markets. They have realised their strategic goals by growing through both strong organic development combined with Rapid and Strong Entry into New Markets. One of the keys to growth has been their ability to drive a Growth agenda with the National Accounts; and in doing so establish a Best in Class National Account Manager teams'.
Having recently entered the UK Market they are now committing strong levels of investment into both NPD and Leading Edge Category solutions. Operating within the Branded & O/L arena their offering is both sophisticated and premium in nature and subsequently has become a real product of choice for many discerning National Account customers and consumers.
They are now ready for their next stage of Growth. As result they are now seeking to appoint a Senior National Account Manager to lead the Highstreet & Discounters channel.
Reporting initially to the Commercial Director and working closely with a the Marketing Director you will take full P&L accountability for
- The High-Street & Discounters Channel
Initial Core Responsibilities
- 30% - Strategic Mapping & New Business Development
- 40% - Customer Focused
- 30% - Getting Close to Brand Markeitng & NPD
Within this remit You will have full accountability for All Senior Contacts within the Channel; Involving working with key Trade Marketing Stakeholders, supporting launch of NPD, driving key events around Commercial Brand Plans.
Internally you will be challenged to deliver:
- Leadership- Matrix
- Set the Vision/Direction
Given the gravity of the role, it will naturally be the building block to take you towards a controller role in the future.
However- Whislt you will be contributing to forming the channel strategy- You will also be delivering it.
Hence a "Hand on Approach" is an absolutely must.
The ideal candidate will have gained strong experience in Brand or Retailer Branded with the High-Street or Discounters channel.
The role requires a real “can do” mentality alongside a creative flair for solution focused thinking inside a matrix framework. Finally the role will need a huge amount of Drive and Passion for delivering real quality to the end consumer combined with a creative flair for delivering ground breaking Customer Solutions.
