You may have progressed from Retail Management to a Field Sales Merchandiser role and now be looking to place yourself upwards in an ever more exacting and specific market place / brand .

Effectively you will overview half of the UK territory and within you will oversee branch locations of Multiple National Retail Jewellers  , Department Stores as well Key Account - speciality brand stores wherever they may be operated.

You are well use to implementing ‘ stringent standards’ complying with globally set display & merchandising standards and quietly you may revel in the possibility of focusing on a single design entity rather than many .

Training your clients sales team on your brand both watch & jewellery is a never-ending challenge but brings with it significant opportunity to push store sales to the maxim - complacency wouldn’t & shouldn’t every be entertained.

As a good natural networker you will seek out your account bases senior regional influencers and be keen to be able to orchestrate additional promotional activities when & wherever permissible and opportune.

Uniquely within our clients business this brand does ‘roadshow‘ throughout the year when buying events arise - again whether solo ‘on the road ‘ or at a ‘ trade event ‘ you are as comfortable being the most frequently seen face of the brand.

You need to be proficient with all Microsoft applications and a confident PowerPoint presenter - your Head of Brand is expectant of your capability to present both externally and internally at a high level.

Finally you need to possess exceptional planning skills - you are tasked with delivering regular support to high profile stockists and these expectation of brand service & support is never to be compromised .

In the future there may well be development scope to lead you ever forward in your career progression quest - this may not be just restricted to training & merchandising but may open pathways for progression into account management and beyond.
