As an instantly recognisable expert in their field our client are significantly expanding their commercial function to support a sustained period of growth. This is a new role with key responsible for successful business development activities taking a consultative approach to engaging both new customers and maximising existing customer activity.



You will be responsible for:
  • Leading, managing and developing business development activities for the business with a range of accounts including both retailer and B2B food manufacturing customers.
  • Working with stakeholders across the business to act on leads and expand existing business opportunities.
  • Contribute to the improvement and development of the businesses service offering.
  • Contribute to and apply business intelligence to create new opportunities.

Your experience:

  • You will already have gained experience as a National Account Manager or Business Development Manager that includes exposure to retailers and/or a food manufacturer customer base.
  • You will be motivated, driven and highly professional coupled with a high work ethic and a proven track record of sales success.
  • Able to demonstrate strong presentation and negotiation ability, you will thrive on dealing with customers at all levels.
  • Partnership orientated and with a consultative approach you must be able to understand customer challenges and work to build long term partnerships.
  • Being able to demonstrate clear communication across different departments and business units is crucial to the role.
