An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a Technical Sports Apparel and Equipment specialist seeking a Key Account Manager to look after major UK retailers.

Our client is a specialist in Technical Sports Lifestyle products and Equipment, experiencing a significant period of growth!
Description
The Key Account Manager will be responsible for driving growth of a portfolio of 8 - 10 designated large-scale retail accounts.
This is a consultative role, and the Key Account Manager will be expected to deliver on the end-to-end sales cycle, managing full product delivery from the pre-sales process, through to developing marketing and retail activation plans, to in-store training.
This role requires the Key Account Manager to drive profit margins through effective stakeholder management and relationship building, and a desire to go the extra mile!
This is a field-based position, and will require the successful candidate to have strong customer journey mapping, and time management skills.
Profile
The successful candidate will:
- Have sold a Technical Sports product
- Have a Technical sporting goods background
- Have sold into large-scale retailers
- Have a proven track record in account management and new business development
- Have demonstrable, effective stakeholder management skills
- Have effective presentation, communication and negotiation skills
- Have a passion for sport!
- Have a clean driving license
