They supply different food manufacturers with a variety of natural ingredients. About the Role:

In this role you will have the opportunity to get to know a great range of products and their technical applications. You will utilise your technical knowledge in the food industry to discuss solutions with clients, answer initial queries and provide an excellent service to customers. You will have the opportunity to get proactive and set client meetings to help drive sales as you get to know the business and products in more detail. You will enjoy problem solving and helping customers overcome their technical issues. You will liaise with the field sales team on internal sales and potential business opportunities to help them make the most of their time and appointments.

The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have sound technical knowledge of the food industry and the processes that occur in manufacturing. Experience in ingredients or food components and preservatives would be a massive bonus, as would a second language. You will have a great attitude, a desire to learn more about the food industry and products the client offers. You will have experience in internal / technical sales / sales support with good commercial acumen. The right candidate will be given the opportunity to manage some smaller accounts and discuss pricing etc.

Minimum Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have experience in a technical area of the food industry be willing to help customers find solutions. You must posses a willingness to learn and develop your skills and knowledge of products and the industry. You will be comfortable presenting to internal and external stakeholder's.

Salary:

Circa £25k - £35k DOE + potential
