National Account Manager – On-Trade (Premium Wine & Spirits)

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK’s most well-known Wine & Spirits specialists. Their reputation for building brands is unparalleled and they are currently going through a very exciting period of growth having recently received significant investment. They have secured a number of high profile brands recently and continue to build the speciality end of their premium spirits range. They are now looking to recruit a talented National Account Manager to develop their Managed On-Trade customer base.


As National Account Manager for Managed On-Trade your key responsibilities will include:

·         Full P&L management of top tier On-Trade accounts including Wetherspoons, Marstons, Greene King, Deltic and Loungers

·         Development of customer specific JBPs aimed at growing distribution and margin within your customer base

·         Working to establish relationships with key target On-Trade groups that are not currently part of your account portfolio

·         Ensuring a cross functional working approach with Marketing, maximising the performance of your customers through utilisation of market insight and data

·         Delivering successful new product launches with effective activation and promotional plans


To be considered for this exciting opportunity it is important that you have experience managing top tier Managed On-Trade customers. Those with connections within accounts such as Wetherspoons, Greene King or Marstons will be at a distinct advantage. Whilst any background within the Beer, Wines and Spirits industries will be considered those with a strong knowledge of the Wine and Spirits categories will be preferred. You will be commercially astute, driven to progress your career and have a passion for the premium drinks industry!
