The Business
CSG are currently working with a fast growing craft beer company, which is making its mark in the brewing industry. Already popular within the on-trade, they are now looking to break into Grocer channels and gain shelf space. The business has been focusing on developing a new range of products which has been successful and so has found the need for an experienced Senior Commercial Manager to run and oversee all sales-related activities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has an entrepreneurial attitude to the strategic direction and development of the business.
The role
Following internal promotion this business is seeking a new Commercial Manager to implement long term sales strategies and oversee all sales related aspects of the business. The ideal candidate would be an experienced Sales Manager from a SME or a Senior National Account Manager from a blue chip organisation.
Key Responsibilities in this role will include:
- Creating your strategic growth plan
- Analyse budget
- Analyse quarterly sales trends and set targets for next quarter
- Create and develop superior customer relationships.
- Negotiate and agree contracts.
- Generate long term sustainable business relationships
- Build strong internal relationships and work cross functionally within the business.
The Candidate
My client is looking for a dynamic, driven and passionate individual who is analytical and has a 'Can do' attitude to business. Ideally, you will be an accomplished Sales or Commercial Manager who has come from a beers, wines or spirits background selling into Top 4 grocers. Experience of working with private label products would be ideal but not essential. You will be looking to join a business where you can really make a difference and take the next step in your career.
