Exhibition Sales Manager - Event Marketing

Office Based- Silverstone

£28,000-£35,000 + 15-25% OTE depending on experience + additional benefits

 

My client is a market leading design consultancy that create and deliver marketing led strategic solutions for live events, exhibitions, experiential activities and virtual reality experiences.

 

Due to incredible growth over the last year, a rare opportunity for a Sales Manager has come up to join a vibrant and innovative team, delivering exciting ideas for the growing global client base. Customers include prestigious brands such as Aston Martin, Sony PlayStation, Mercedes and Porsche. Their product and service is a great door opener and exceptional at selling itself.

 

Role

  • The primary role of the Sales Manager is to prospect for new clients through targeted business development, event networking and other means of generating interest in the business
  • Present yourself, the business and the service in a professional way to maximise opportunity with new prospect businesses.
  • Responsibility for creating and an Account Management strategy in line with the business and client requirements.
  • Identify potential clients and make proactive approaches to key stakeholders
  • Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining and leveraging your network
  • Collaborate with various departments within the business to develop proposals that meet the client’s needs, objectives and expectations
  • Present new products and services to existing relationships.
  • Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs to embrace continuous development

 

The requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience
  • Confident - effective door opener
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets in a sales capacity
  • Commutable to Northamptonshire based head office

 

Ideal candidate

  • Driven & self-motivated
  • A rounded sales experience, from highlighting prospects and making initial approaches to closing a proposal
  • Experience at live events, exhibitions or similar
  • Experience working international is not necessary but would be beneficial
