Our client is a highly successful division of a major FMCG family owned company operating across a number of diverse categories. Their brands have fantastic presence across the soft and alcoholic drinks category. The business has some really exciting future growth plans for both existing and new brands, supported by significant marketing investment.
They are now seeking a Customer Development Executive to join the team and take on responsibility to identify, secure and manage a portfolio of hotel, restaurant and casual dining groups across the UK with a view to agreeing trading agreements. With the support of the Customer Development Manager, the role will have a major focus on winning new business with the opportunity to manage and grow any accounts won.
We are looking for graduate calibre individuals with a minimum of c.12 months previous sales experience, gained ideally in an on-trade/foodservice environment, who can display a genuine passion for the drinks industry. Alternatively, you may be a recent graduate with some relevant sales or marketing work experience gained from an internship or work placement period.
This is a hands-on role with real responsibility that will test your influencing skills from day one. To be successful you will need to display a confident, articulate and persuasive personality, possess planning, organisational and time management skills, display good commercial acumen combined with passion and a drive for success.
