The company we are currently working with is a highly regarded wine business who owns their own vineyards, and distribute across the world. They pride themselves on producing exciting and innovative wines and have won numerous awards due to the quality of their products. They also produce own label solutions for some of the leading supermarkets.

Our client is currently looking for an Inventory Analyst to work alongside the Supply Chain Manager in the UK. The role is responsible for the dry good procurement for products which are bottled in the UK being responsible for liaising between both supplier and production.

The role requires somebody who is very analytical with a fantastic eye for detail, who is competent with excel and has excellent numerical ability. The key aspects of the role include but are not limited to;

• Procuring dry goods from suppliers on a regular basis; to fall in line with production plans
• Invoicing against delivery notes from applicable warehouses
• Shared responsibility with Marketing in approval of Vintage /ABV/ legal changes
• Acting as the point of contact for accounts team for all dry goods supplier queries
• Liaising with Brand Managers to ensure that all dry goods artwork is completed ahead of required productions
• Working with all dry goods suppliers to ensure that sufficient materials are available for all production
• Assisting with the tender of potential new suppliers, for NPD or current label requirements
• Weekly dry goods reports to bottling companies, collate obsolete label reports
• Assist with placing, processing and invoicing customer orders
• Dealing with customers directly via phone and e-mail.

Experiencing or having an understanding of Supply Chain would be advantageous in being successful in this role. A history of stock controlling and forecasting would also be a beneficial in securing this position.
