Procurement Assistant | Fresh Produce | Kent

We are working with a leading fruit supplier based in the South East and supplying the retail sector. Due to recent expansion they are looking to take on an entry level position in their Procurement team to assist the day-to-day running of the business and gain valuable experience in the industry.

The Role:

Your role would be to successfully assist the Procurement team across a range of fruit categories. This would include DATA reviews and analysis, planning product programs and supporting relationships with key suppliers. You would be happy and confident working as part of a team and assisting other teams where possible.

The Candidate:

The successful candidate could be a good graduate looking for that first step into a buying or procurement role or someone with industry experience looking to make a bit of change. A good knowledge of fresh produce, fruit or business would be very useful and the ability to speak Spanish is HIGHLY desirable for this role, but not essential.
