Job Description

Vacancy Locations (this is currently the postcodes for the stores we visit): 

HP18, MK42, MK43, MK11, RG14, RG4, N2, OX14, RG7, KT24, SG1, AL4

Main Job Purpose

  1. Implement & execute the operational field strategy for the NPD channel
  2. Regular callage on selected symbol and independent retailers
  3. Drive distribution, availability and display standards within those outlets
  4. Build ongoing relationships with the retailers

Major Responsibilities/Activities

  • To implement Ferrero NPD products in nominated stores by selling stock from the van – which is collected from Long Crendon each morning
  • Site POS as and when required
  • Present to retailers when a new product/promotion is required to be implemented in their store
  • Collect the van and the product from the warehouse in Long Crendon each morning and return back at the end of the day to unload the stock and leave the van
  • Complete invoices and credit notes in each store where required
  • To complete visits as per your journey plan
  • To build external relationships with retailers and store personnel and to track competitors’ activity by forming networks with them
  • Complete feedback on every call using the given reporting procedure after each call, maintaining up to date records using a tablet in addition to paperwork recording
  • Weekly banking of money from the stock sold into store

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Able to drive a transit size van
  • Good communication & influencing skills
  • Computer literate
  • Educated to degree level
  • Minimum 6 months FMCG sales experience or similar
  • Numerate and competent and confident in managing cash, invoicing and stock reconciliation
  • Determination to achieve & willingness to continually learn
  • Proven record of demonstrating initiative & delivering results
  • Clean driving licence
