About Our Client:
Our client is an established business operating in a growing category supplying all of the mayor supermarkets in the UK with a variety of products. They have a good reputation for quality and have innovated a number of products to aid their growth. They have a great culture where they offer their team the opportunity and responsibilities to get the job done and progress their careers. They work closely with the retailers offering supermarket own label products and have very collaborative relationships with their customers.
About the Role:
This role has been created due to the continued growth of the category and business. You will be responsible for supporting the national account manager on sales to all of the major food retailers. You will process sales reports, category data and insight to assess sales performance and look for opportunities within the market. You will possess strong organisation and Excel skills to support the NAM in developing and delivering a sales strategy and JBP's with clients. You will have a fantastic can-do attitude and be willing to get stuck into a variety of projects and prove yourself capable of looking after your own accounts within a short space of time.
The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have experience in serving the major retailers. You will be comfortable using Excel and looking at sales data to produce reports. You will have experience in working to tight deadlines and will be very organised. You will be a good problem solver and be able to identify and rectify any potential issues in sales/supply before they become a problem. Above all you will have a great attitude, be a team player, articulate and driven to progress.
Minimum Requirements:
To be considered for this role, as a minimum you will have strong Excel skills, be commercially minded and detail orientated. You will be a very good communicator and will want to learn and develop your skills. You will have an interest in food/the food industry and supplying the major supermarkets.
