Business Development Manager – Ambient Snacking
Are you an experienced Business Development/Account Manager looking to join an ambitious independent snacks business that is in growth and need to add to their already successful team?
Celebrating 25 years of business, Food Connections, based in the Midlands, is a fast-growing manufacturer of delicious bakery snacks such as flapjacks, muffins, and cookies alongside an increasing protein/sports nutrition enhanced range under our own Food Connections brand and own label.
To support our significant growth and build for the future, we are looking to add a strong and influential sales person to our team who is keen to develop their career and provide excellent results mainly with our B2B Sports Nutrition customers.
The Role:
- Development of existing and new business including Sports Nutrition
- Covering Retail/Wholesale/Food Service/Co-manufacturing sectors
- Develop customer specific objectives which deliver further growth
- Maximise profitability
- Engage at all levels within the account portfolio
- Prepare and deliver customer product briefs for internal review
- Be actively involved in bringing products to market
- Work closely with our NPD, Operations and factory teams
The Candidate:
- Experience and knowledge of the sectors covered
- Keen interest of Sports Nutrition products/brands
- Own label/Co Manufacturing experience is highly beneficial
- Strong account management skills and commercial understanding
- Confident relationship builder and ability to work cross-functionally
- Positive/can do attitude
