Sales Director | Midlands with Travel
Having built a reputation over the last ten years based upon quality of product and customer service, our client has reached a pivotal point in their five year growth plan which requires the appointment of a sales director to the leadership team.
Currently operating in the SME sector of the FMCG market, they are working across multiple retail partners, in particular the higher quality stores. This approach has been achieved through the creation of fantastic products that are revered in the sector along with close relationships which have delivered a special customer working relationship.
The role will be to oversee the retailer and Foodservice relationships along with those internally that will involve creation of the commercial five year strategy and management of the development, category and commercial functions.
You will ideally have held responsibility in both branded and own label environments that will have armed you with marketing and operational experience. But don’t forget the need for commercial acumen. Everyone wants some of that these days!!
