Senior Category Buyer – up to £70,000 plus excellent package – Central London

 

 An excellent opportunity has arisen within a leading successful food to go retail client who is seeking a Senior Category Buyer to join their dynamic and expanding team in Central London to join their expanding team.

 

The successful Senior Category Buyer must have demonstrable experience of a category role gained from a food retailer or FMCG organisation. Your responsibilities as the Senior Category Buyer will to develop category strategies that will deliver the sales and profit targets. This will include ranging, product development, pricing initiatives, promotional strategies and layout and merchandising initiatives.  You will manage internal and external stakeholders to optimise your categories. In addition the role has a strategic element focused on identifying new revenue streams and partnerships. You will be someone who can identify new areas of opportunity and develop and gain commitment for your category strategy. You will have excellent commercial, negotiation and influencing skills and will be able to demonstrate a can do attitude.
