The company produces a significant amount of healthy snacking products, very much centred around healthy living, with considerable year on year growth.  They have a strong brand with an innovative range which is setting them apart from their competitors and are out performing the market.  This business place a high value on culture fit and are looking for individuals who share their passion, confidence and success.
 
Responsibilities
  • Devise business plans with key High Street customers to ensure sales are maximised at key trading periods
  • Account manage key accounts such as Primark, Coots, Superdrug and Holland & Barrett
  • Identify new business opportunities in the High Street channel outside of your current network
  • Convert leads into revenue at profit enhancing levels
  • Full P&L and forecast responsibility
  • Constantly extending your depth & breadth of product ranges within your accounts
  • Work with the existing sales team to gain insights and therefore deliver local activation where possible
  • Understanding route to market, new business opportunities, competitor activity, new NPD as well as being an expert in the High Street channel
  • Work with Supply Chain to build bespoke products/packaging that can help the brand win accounts within OOH
The Candidate
  • A background in National Account Management; preferably within the food industry
  • An ambitious and enthusiastic NAM or a NAE looking for a step up
  • Proven experience of driving sales in the High Street channel
  • Management of key accounts: Primark, Boots, Superdrug, Holland & Barrett
  • Experience of driving sales forward in Grocery or OOH channel would be highly desirable
  • Full P & L accountability and full understanding of financial metrics
  • Natural ability to influence and network both internally & externally
  • Strong verbal and communications skills to listen to needs of customers
  • A passion for selling, negotiating and building relationships
