Interim Senior National Account Manager
A global FMCG food brand is looking for a Business Account Manager to work in a large team developing the commercial proposition for one of their grocery clients. The role encompasses a full range of activity and will involve a number of leading brands.
You will be working in a large team and will be in charge of a stable of brands with one of the big supermarkets chains. You will be targeted with a range of financial and operational goals which will be stretching but very achievable. You will be well supported with high profile marketing activity and an operational team that will cover most of the key areas.
There will be some travel to the client's offices and you will act as a trusted advisor to the supermarket to help them and the company achieve their goals. You will be expected to provide forecasts based on current activity and provide best in class customer service.
This blue chip organisation is one of the largest in its sector and produces some of the best known and best loved products. They are globally recognised and have a fantastic presence in the UK.
To be successful in this role it is essential that you have the following skills:
- Strong SNAM/ NAM experience from within grocery
- Experience of dealing within grocery ideally M&S/ Waitrose
- Experience of managing branded goods
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Previous demonstrable experience of category management with successful implementation
- Experience of branded grocery sales
- Strong presentation and communication skills
