E-Commerce Project Manager - 6/7 months contract

This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a key strategic project for a multi-national FMCG business with a multitude of brands across a number of product categories.

You will play a key leadership role in the development of a direct to consumer platform for the business. Operating as the interface between the web developers, the internal stakeholders across the business up to board level, and the external support partners, this is a critical position to ensure a successful ecommerce platform is created, then developing the offering further to enhance the customer experience and develop additional channel opportunities.

You must have prior experience of developing ecommerce capabilities within the FMCG, food, beverage or retail space. Whilst you need to have an understanding of the consumer journey from searching a website to the product landing on the doorstep, we don’t want a technical development person. You must be a commercially minded operator, with excellent communication skills who can skilfully manage a circuital project such as this, as well as manage and influence the information flow through the business and the external partners to ensure a cohesive project and successful outcome.
