Chief Executive

IGD is a research and training charity at the heart of the UK’s food and grocery industry, with over 1000 member companies worldwide.

We are now looking for an exceptional Chief Executive to lead the organisation through its next phase of development.

The ideal candidate will have / be:

• Proven senior leadership experience in either the food or grocery industry
• An excellent influencer and collaborator – with the ability to win the hearts and minds of a wide range of stakeholders
• An inspirational leader with energy, passion and an enthusiasm to make a genuine difference
• Exceptional people skills and the ability to establish centres of excellence for the sector
• Commercially robust with strong strategic capabilities, ideally with a global outlook
• Steadfast values and a genuine desire to lead a charitable organisation with rigour and purpose
• Effective communicator, with the ability to act with integrity, discretion and diplomacy
