Recently acquired by a large International professional beauty company, it is an exciting time for this UK born hair care business who operate both in the professional and retail markets. They are an extremely well respected name across industry experts, looked on to bring the latest trends and techniques to salons. As well as owning a number of salons, they are also distributed in Boots and Superdrug. Catering to both the premium as well as ‘mastige’ markets has resulted in an extremely diverse customer base. They are now looking for a Communications Manager to join they small team at Head Office to transform their digital identity.
As Communications Manager you will be responsible for aligning the high-end brand image across all platforms including the company website, Facebook and Instagram. This is a pivotal role within the business as you will work extremely cross functionally with such figures as the Artistic Director, Product Manager, Salon Director, and Technical Agencies. You will be targeted on driving retail sales, bringing on new clients and new professional partners to ultimately increase revenue through digital platforms. The Communication Manager will ultimately lead the way in online strategy, consulting throughout the company on best practice.
Additional Responsibilities Include:
- Day to day contact for external agencies, key influencers, partners and internal creative resources to ensure we use them correctly and produce high level execution, communicating brand message and vision consistency across all marketing channels.
- Manages the development and monitoring of the marketing communications budget.
- Responsible for the creation of marketing materials; online content, press releases, stylist biographies, quote requests and fact sheets.
The ideal candidate will have a background in, or a passion for beauty and fashion brands. Proven experience of growing a company’s online following as well as building and implementing a digital strategy is essential. A natural interest in current trends is advised, as well as an outgoing, organised and likable personality to ensure you work efficiently with this small team.
